  • Delivered a khutba on Friday, September 7th on the topic: “Who are the Successful Ones?”

 

  • During the Friday Family Dinner on September 7th some of the pilgrims (Hujjaj) from the AMDA community who had proceeded for Hajj in a group led by AMDA’s Imam shared their stories and experiences with the community. The Imam also shared his experiences and encouraged those who had not yet performed Hajj to do so at their earliest convenience.

 

  • Coordinated with Muslim Family Services (MSF) and AMDA’s board members to have the MSF make a presentation at AMDA’s board meeting on Saturday, September 8th. The ongoing collaboration of AMDA with MSF in different social and humanitarian services and drives is being carried out with the board’s knowledge and approval.

 

  • Delivered a khutba on Friday, September 14th on the topic: “Significance of Al-Hijrah.”

 

  • Made supplication (du’a) at the Diversity Dinner organized by the City of Sterling Heights on Thursday, Sept 20 at the Century Banquet Center, 33204 Maple Lane Dr, Sterling Heights, MI. Emailed the transcript of the invocation made to the board members.  

 

  • Delivered a khatira on Saturday, September 22nd on the topic: “Supplications and Adhkar to remove Worries.”

 

  • Conducted the Nikah of Sanjana Shahreen & Tahmid Uddin in AMDA Masjid on Friday, September 28th.

 

  • Delivered a khutba on Friday, September 28th on the topic: “Love for Allah (SWT).”

 

  • Delivered a khatira on Saturday, September 29th on the topic: “Tawfeeq and how to get it.

 

  • Arranged for a representative of the “Islamic Networks Group” (ING) to deliver a talk on the occasion of the Friday Family Night Dinner Event on Friday, October 5th. This was done with the knowledge and approval of AMDA’s current board chairman – Br Mosharraf Hossain.

 

  • Conducted the Quranic Arabic Classes every Thursday.

 

  • Delivered a short tafsir of few verses of the Qur’an after Salat ul Fajr every day, and after Salat ul Maghrib every Wednesday and Thursday.
