March, 2022

  • Delivered a khutba on Friday, March 4th on the topic: “What does Allah promise to the righteous believers?”
  • Gave an online presentation on Friday, March 4th on the topic: Hadith 19: “Be Mindful of Allah and He will protect you.” under the series: “Commentary on the Forty Hadith of Imam Al-Nawawi.”
  • Sent an email to the board officially informing them about my intention to retire with effect from August 1, 2022. Also informed them about the diverse activities that were done at AMDA during my tenure (Jan 2014 to July 2022).  
  • Delivered a khutba on Friday, March 11th on the topic: “Understanding Guidance from the Islamic Perspective.”
  • Gave an online presentation on Friday, March 11th on the topic: Hadith 20: “Modesty is a Part of Faith.” under the series: “Commentary on the Forty Hadith of Imam Al-Nawawi.”
  • Gave an online presentation on Friday, March 18th on the topic: “Hadith 21: Say, ‘I have Faith in Allah, and Remain Steadfast” under the series: “Commentary on the Forty Hadith of Imam Al-Nawawi.”
  • Corresponded with the board regarding ‘Adhan of Jumu’ah’ according to the Hanafi school of thought.
  • Sent an email to the board attaching my article on the topic: ‘Adhan & Iqamah.’
  • Delivered a khutba on Friday, February 25th on the topic: “Welcoming Ramadan.”
  • Gave an online presentation on Friday, March 25th on the topic: Hadith 22: Adhering only to Obligations” under the series: “Commentary on the Forty Hadith of Imam Al-Nawawi.”
  • Edited and uploaded transcripts of khutbahs on AMDA’s website.
  • Organized the Khateeb Schedule for March, 2022.
  • Uploaded the monthly report for March, 2022 on AMDA’s website.
  • Delivered every day a short tafsir of few verses of the Qur’an after Salat ul-Fajr.
  • Conducted every Sunday an online weekly session on Tafsir of the Qur’an.
  • Conducted every Monday an online weekly class on recitation of the Qur’an with Tajweed. 
  • Conducted every Tuesday an online weekly class on word to word translation of the Qur’an. 
  • Conducted every Wednesday an online weekly class on word to word translation of the Qur’an. 
  • Conducted every Saturday a khatira after Salat ul Fajr.
