  • Delivered a khutba on Friday, December 6th on the topic: “The Mercy of Allah.”

 

  • Delivered a khatira after Fajr prayer on Saturday, December 7th on the topic: “How to Deal with Stress Spiritually.”

 

  • On Dec 3, Br Shamim Shahid set up a 3 minutes video shooting in the Masjid, in which I described very briefly about AMDA’s Third Annual Seerah Conference. This video clip along with other presentations was shown on the occasion of AMDA’s fundraising dinner on Saturday, Dec 7th.

 

  • Participated in a luncheon meeting with members of the ‘Islamic Network Group’ (ING Midwest) on Sunday, Dec 8th to listen to and share ideas with Dr. Susan Douglass, Professor of Islamic Studies at the George Town University, Washington DC.

 

  • Delivered a khutba on Friday, December 13th on the topic: “Finding true Happiness in Life.”

 

  • Delivered a khatira after Fajr prayer on Saturday, December 14th on the topic: “On Being Positive.”

 

  • Sister Alimah Sobia Hasan gave a talk on Thursday, December 19th at 5:00 pm (to an exclusive sisters’ gathering in the AMDA Masjid) on the topic: “Being the Parents Our Kids Need.”

 

  • Delivered a khutba on Friday, December 20th on the topic: “The Most Beautiful Names of Allah.”

 

  • Delivered a khatira after Fajr prayer on Saturday, December 21st on the topic: “The Human Heart.”

 

  • Sheikh Moiz Hasan gave a talk on Saturday, December 21st after Salat ul Isha on the topic: “Importance of Maintaining Family Ties.”

 

  • Participated in a luncheon meeting at ‘Sakura Halal Chinese Restaurant’ to welcome the New Muslims who get together every Saturday at AMDA Masjid in an event/activity called ‘Coffee with the Imam.’ The lunch was graciously sponsored by AMDA’s respected board member – Br Saria Sadique.

 

  • Conducted the weekly ‘Welcoming New Muslims Meeting’ every Saturday.

 

  • Held Quran classes on every Wednesday and Thursday.

 

  • Delivered a short tafsir of few verses of the Qur’an after Salat ul-Fajr every day.

 

  • Was on ten days vacation leave from Dec 26, 2019 to Jan 8, 2020.
