Monthly Report
April, 2015
· Held two classes every week in the Masjid to help students learn Arabic for the purpose of understanding the Qur’an.
· Gave a talk on ‘Marriage in Islam’ on April 04 on the occasion of the Walima Reception of the son of one of our community members—Br. Raziuddin Siddiqui.
· Drafted the ‘Letter of Invitation’ to be sent to the clergy and city officials on the occasion of the upcoming ‘Open House’ event.
· Posted transcripts of my khutbas, tafsirs, and monthly report on AMDA’s website.
· Called and coordinated the weekly meetings of the volunteers for the upcoming June 06 ‘Open House’ event.
· Included new khatibs in the list of AMDA’s guest khatibs for the Friday prayers.
· Sisters’ halaqas held on April 10, 18, and 25 on various topics such as ‘Leaving Sins’, ‘Life—a Journey’, and ‘Thankfulness to Allah’, The guest speaker–Sister Madiha Bajwa also made power point presentations on ‘how to make wudu and how to pray’.
· Made a presentation on ‘Islam & Muslims’ to the senior residents of Town Village Complex on Friday, April 17.
· AMDA’s youth event was arranged on Friday, April 24 in the Masjid. The guest speaker, Dr. Abdullah Bokhari spoke on the topic ‘“Purification of the heart: Balance between Knowledge and Spirituality’.
