Joint Meeting – August 2011

The following topics were discussed and proposals made and adopted by the members present.
1.August 13th fund raising invitation/contact update. All volunteers are requeested to report to Balkan Center by 5 pm.
2. Status of AMDA Masjid Plan. – Drawings were review with Architect on Friday 8/5. Still waiting for underground electrical and Gas line drawings.
3. Eid Preparation. – Eid salat will be @ the Balkan Community Center, 9:00am Takbir, 9:15 Salat. Br. Ferdous Ghazi will order the refreshment. There will be a Eid potluck dinner either @ Balkan Center or Chinese Community Center. Sister Siddika Hussain will call and assign food and supply to each family. There will be a $10 charge to each family to cover the cost of rent and misc expenses.
4. AMDA academy registration/preparation for next year. – Br Mahiuddin will request Br Mujib and Br Dulal to provide the old student list so he can start the registration.
5. Following requests for fund raising are approved by Board during Ramadan. – Hafiz Fakrul Islam, Sunday 8/14, EquallyAble foundation, Friday 8/19, Helping Hand of Br Habib, Saturday 8/20, DEF of Anwarul Islam, Sunday 8/21 , Quran Institute, Saturday 8/27.
6. Next Chairman introduction. Br Habib will take the Chairmanship effective from September 1st. Congratulation Br Habib.
