1. Public Hearing for AMDA Center Site Plan Approval – Attorney Lena Masri will represent AMDA at the hearing. Following will meet the attorney and the architect prior to the hearing. Members of the team: Nurul Amin, Moin Asjad, Mujibus Khan, Moin Mirza, Habeeb Sayed and Javid Khatri.

2. Communication with City of Sterling Heights related to AMDA Center Construction – Board agreed that brother Moin Asjad will continue to be the liason between AMDA and the City of Sterling Heights for Site Plan Approval and any other matter related to construction of the new AMDA Center.

3. Annual Financial Report to be shared with members

4. AMDA Family Picnic – AMDA Family Picnic will be organized by AMDA Academy, group E Sr. As part of their leadership project, they will organize the picnic, any additional proceeds from the picnic will be used to purchase and donate medicine to poor people. This leadership project was planned and developed over two years.

5. Financial Status Update – As of now, the balance is enough to fund AMDA operational costs for about four months.

Walk in items

1. Brother Javid Khatri proposed Mustafa Elturk, Ameer of IONA, as the guest speaker for the Friday Night Family Event in March, 2011.

2. Brother Habib Sayed proposed to record the Khutba at Friday prayers and upload them on the AMDA website. This will be discussed in the next board meeting.

3. Brother Moudud informed that brother Anwarul Islam, a founding member of the charity, Diversified Education Foundation, has proposed to give speeches of an hour each on “Spread of Islam in Bangladesh”, over three sessions of the Friday Night Family Event. This will be discussed in the next board meeting.

4. Brother Habeeb Sayed expressed interest in administration of the AMDA website. This will be discussed in the next board meeting.
